Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your ClockwiseCards account and all of your data at any time. Here is exactly what happens and how to do it.

How to delete your account

In the app — fastest

Profile → Delete Account

Open ClockwiseCards, go to the Profile tab, tap Delete Account, and confirm. Your account and data are erased immediately — no waiting and nothing else to do.

No longer have the app installed? Email us and we will process your request. Because ClockwiseCards accounts are tied to a phone number rather than a username and password, we may ask you to verify control of that number before we delete anything.

What gets deleted

Deletion is a full hard delete — your data is erased, not hidden or anonymized in place, and it cannot be recovered:

  • Your profile and player name.
  • Your phone number and every identifier that points to you — including copies stored in other hosts' invite lists, player pools, join requests, and any pending phone-change requests.
  • Every game you host — each game you created is deleted along with its guest list, invitations, and history. Players committed to an upcoming game you host receive a courtesy "the host left — game cancelled" notice first.
  • Your activity and settings — reliability history, saved seats, notification preferences, announcements, and saved locations.
  • Any linked Google or Apple sign-in.
  • Your push-notification tokens and this device's link to the account.
  • Your spot in games hosted by other people. Those games are not deleted, but you are removed from them.

What we keep

Anonymized records of account actions

For security and fraud prevention we keep anonymized audit records of actions taken on the account. After deletion, these are stripped of everything that identifies you and retain only a neutral action name and a timestamp — no name, no phone number, no IP address, and no other personal data. They cannot be linked back to you.

How long it takes

Deletion is immediate. There is no grace period, no soft-delete, and no recovery window — once you confirm, your data is purged right away.

After you delete

ClockwiseCards works without a login, so if you keep using the app you simply start over as a brand-new, empty account on your device. None of your old data carries over.
